HOMEMADE OREO ICE CREAM

OREO ICE CREAM
By: Emerald Stone

I have been planning on making some cookies and cream Ice cream all summer long! I keep buying Oreos with this ice cream in mind. Unfortunately, Oreos don't seem to last long around here. This week i finally got my chance to make the ice cream and boy was it good! So good! But then something rather tragic happened. I dished up this fantastic bowl of ice cream to take pictures. it was a hard feat this time around.. i had a hard time waiting to take a bite..

After a couple of shots, i leisurely enjoyed eating this bowl of creamy cookie. Then i got bust decorating wedding cookies. (BTW we are currently on our way back home from the wedding today.so stay tuned for the cookies and wedding cake post in the near future)

Hours later I realized that the rest of the ice cream was still on the counter.. a quart of creamy cookie soup. Bummer. I guess i will just have to make it again. Actually, it is so good that it will make a frequent appearance in our kitchen.

OREO ICE CREAM

1 Cup fat free milk
2 cups heavy cream
3/4 cup granulated sugar
pinch salt
1/2 1 tablespoon pure vanilla extract
7-10 Oreo cookies

Mix All the ingredient except cookies together until sugar is dissolved. Cover and refrigerate until ready to process (I usually skip this step). Follow freezing directions for your ice cream maker.

While ice cream is freezing, chop Oreo into pieces. Once ice cream is done processing, fold in cookie pieces. transfer to freezer safe container and freeze until ready to serve (about 1-2 hours)

You can use almost any combination of dairy you choose for this for these 3 cups depending on your preference.

Enchanted River in hinatuan surigao del sur

Enchanted River
Hinatuan River was nicknamed by the locals “The Enchanted River” some say due to the belief that it was not wise to swim there after dark because the spirits watched over the river. Others believe that it was called the The Enchanted River due to the fact that the salt water miraculously flow without any visible source.
No matter which way you look at it, at it’s deepest point it is about 25 meters deep and the water are amazingly clear and deep blue.
Hinatuan River is a very popular tourist attraction in the Philippines and sometimes can get a little crowded with visitors, the place closes at 5 PM and it is better visited on the off-season..

DARANAK FALLS

Daranak falls came from the phrase "Dadanak ang dugo" its directly translate "the spilling of blood" it is located at bgy. Tandang Kutyo in the town of tanay.

Save for the water and the rocks around, everywhere you looked it was green. thick, probably century-old trees look down a top the falls, almost making it seem like a natural umbrella that spread around the entire refuge from concrete and industry, making you feel cradle by nature herself. to me there's nothing more relaxing.

Daranak falls also one of a favorite location shooting area of most local and international movies and advertising outfits in the country.

Here are some photos of me, So amazing it is sixty to eighty feet high falls is truly a refreshing site. Also , I want to try and jump, i want to know how it's like to do something you're deadly afraid of. It's a challenge.

I was enjoying so much

Me and my cousin

The water was so cold..The water gets deep near the falls. you would really need a salbabida if you don't know hot to swim.
